Comparing Nancy Pelosi to a Nazi
Thursday, October 29, 2009
Because the words sound similar, and more importantly, because it's true--Nancy Pelosi is exactly like the Nazis--a heckler yelled "Nazi Pelosi!" at the Speaker today as she unveiled the House health care reform plan. This genius word-game didn't start today.
In fact, the domain NaziPelosi.com, which is still an empty parked page, has been registered since 2007. And the writer of the blog NaziPelosi.blogspot.com, an Eric Smith from Barstow, CA, has been doing it for even longer. The first post on this blog, from December 2006, is a short one:
Created this Blog to Track Nazi Pelosi
Nazi, er Nancy Pelosi needs to be watched like a hawk, and I am going to join others in watching this nazi loving socialist until she is no longer the House Majority Leader.
Good for you, Eric!
Some of his posts are straight and to the point. On Pelosi's opposition to off-shore drilling, Smith writes:
Drill Now you Nazi Bitch!
Adding,
You are the worst Speaker in the history of the United States. I hope you are proud of that accomplishment.
Other posts are more nuanced:
And if you're still not convinced, here's a picture from the sidebar:
So how does Eric still manage to lose the coveted Nut of the Day award? See, if you go back to the original Politico article about the heckling earlier today, and about Pelosi's response ("Thank you, insurance companies of America"), you'll find this comment by Roger:
Anyone care to place a wager that the anti-Pelosi protester was a plant and that Pelosi's come-back was prepared? Or would that just make me a conspiracy theorist?
Well, Roger, you're not a conspiracy theorist. Not everyone who says idiotic things is a conspiracy theorist. In fact, most people who say idiotic things are just idiots.

I want to bear George W.Bush's children, but even I'm not as deluded as the folks commenting over there.
Blanca, nothing wrong with that, first of all. One day he'll be President For Life, and he'll probably be allowed to have as many wives as he wants. Or at least concubines.
What I noticed was Mr. Eric Smith's very creative writing style very impressive. I'm sure he's probably working for Fox News by now. They love those type of writers.
Mike, he might be just a little too subtle for Fox News.
