Free Republic Members Want to Start a Revolution
Saturday, November 7, 2009
It's nice to see that some politicians are working for the people. Thanks, Nancy Pelosi. You're on my side, and I'm grateful for that.
Here's what the good people at Free Republic say:
A poster is calling for Civil Disobedience, because
It's obvious by now the body politic is replete with socialists, Communists and fascists who have no regard for the Constitution, the rule of law or the people. Their only goal is the utter destruction of the Constitution and our Democratic Republic.
Unfortunately for them we are the majority. It is time we take the next step by putting our heads together and form mass resistance to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution ourselves since the three branches of government are seeking complete domination over our lives. There can be no holding back. The time is now to put our heads together and show the socialists we are taking back our country!!!
I don't know how he decides he's a majority, but I'll move on. So... how do commenters react to the idea of civil disobedience? If you guess that they disagree because what we really need is armed resistance you'd be correct.
If by “civil disobedience” you mean “armed revolution” then I agree...
There is a time for "thinking about it", a time for "talking about it", and then comes a time finally for "doing something aobut it".
Come on! Do something aobut it! But what?
A military coup works for me.
Oh... Thanks for clarifying it for me, buccaneer81. Anyone else?
It’s only treason if you are unsuccessful.
Thanks, Blood of Tyrants, with the signature: "The Second Amendment. Don't MAKE me use it."
See, that is the only way. If you get 1,000,000 people to show up in DC with guns, and another 50,000 with guns at each state capital they might get the point.
Okay... This is getting a little too much...
The Senate had better hold. If it does not they will feel the wrath of Revolution.
When one steps out their front door, gun in hand, and sees that all the neighbors are doing the same thing, that’s the day the revolution starts. Then we all head on over to the nearest house of ill repute (any government building) and take back our country.
Anyone has anything to add?
Remember the good old days when we shot Commies instead of electing them?
Thanks, Kickass Conservative!

That's the great thing about being a Republican today: the new math where 30% is called the majority and a few thousand becomes over a million. I guess being numerically challenged explains Foley and his daliances with minors. When you can't count 17 seems like 45.
That's funny and clever, Blanca. (really, it is) A post worth reading. It's reminds me of the 45 million uninsured...or 30 million, or is it 17 million? or are we counting the 18 million or is it actually 15 million illegal aliens? Once we get that number correct, we'll work on explaining how 15% of the people—who don't have but need—health insurance should take precedence over the 85% who have health insurance and don't want to be forced to take something the government requires. 15 is greater than 85—only in Liberal Math.
thanks for having us on your blogroll!
We would like to return the favor. We use 125x125 graphics to link to our friends. Let me know if you have something we can use and if not I will be happy to conjure one up for you. Just send your graphic to kim at aworldofprogress.com
thanks!

The conservatards never cease to amaze. Maybe one day they'll actually learn to read and maybe they will understand what socialism is not a bad word and Obama is not a socialist.
But until then I hope that the government arrests them because conspiring against the government is a crime.
"Free Republik" has been included in this weeks Sites To See. I hope you like the image I featured, and I hope this helps to attract many new visitors here.

Ha! I just realized I have a Patients First Google Ad here... Off to block them. Now where was I?
Blanca, they are the majority because they are REAL AMERICANS, which means their votes should be counted twice.
Pedlar7, I don't expect everyone to feel sorry for illegal immigrants. If you don't--that's your problem. But can't you feel sympathy for your under-insured neighbor or your uninsured cousin? You're throwing some numbers around and quiet your conscious while people's lives are being destroyed because they can't afford basic treatment.
Kim, Ooh! Thanks! You can use my Entrecard picture (I haven't dropped an EC since they started putting ads again), or you can use anything else you want. I'm sure it will be good.
Mike, all they need is a buzzword like Freedom and they're off. I bet many of them realize they're fighting for insurance companies and not for FREEDOM, but really, it's not like they have anything better to do.
FishHawk, thanks!
