But real patriots will see this video an notice that at around the 1 minute mark, the kid representing Israel is beating up the kid representing Gaza, while the kid representing America does nothing to help! The moral retrogrades should have had an illiterate punk in a gaza shirt throwing rockets at the home of the boy in an Israel shirt while the kid in the America shirt is sitting and wringing his hands.

Republicans Embrace Andre Bauer. But Not in a Gay Way.

As usual, the more outrageous you are, the more likely you are to be embraced by Republican voters. This means that South Carolina Lt. Gov. Andre Bauer's statement comparing poor people to animals that should be starved has elevated his status. Look, the S.C. Attorney General Henry McMaster, who may actually become the next Governor, even says, "Bauer chose words poorly but conservatives share his concern with entitlements."

In other words, poor people should be starved, just don't compare them to animals.

But where were the Republicans when rumors about Bauer being gay started surfacing? Here are some comments from Free Republic. The context: Bauer accused Governor Sanford of spreading the gay-rumors as part of a smear campaign.

It is hardly a mystery that Andre Bauer is gay. Give me a break. His own wife accused him of having a homosexual affair in their divorce papers. I mentioned that on this forum when the Sanford/Argentina news first broke. South Carolinians should be aware that if they drum Sanford out, they will be getting their first homosexual governor, at least until the next election.
